City of Artesia Comprehensive Plan Public Meeting
ARTESIA—The City of Artesia is holding the second public meeting to update the City of Artesia Comprehensive Plan. The meeting will be facilitated by the City’s consultant, Consensus Planning, and include a presentation on the planning process, community survey results, draft goals and objectives, and alternative land use scenarios for how Artesia may grow in the next 20 years. The Comprehensive Plan addresses all aspects of the community, including community profile, land use, economic development, housing and neighborhoods, community services and facilities, transportation, infrastructure, hazard mitigation and more.
The public meeting will be held at the Artesia Recreation Center on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. The meeting will provide an opportunity for the public to provide input on the City’s future.
