Proclamation - Domestic Violence Awareness Month - 2022

Mayor Jon Henry, center, issued a proclamation declaring October 2022 as Domestic Violence Awareness Month and encouraged all citizens of Artesia to be aware and supportive of the important role Grammy's House and its programs play in eradicating domestic violence. The proclamation reiterates the philosophy of Grammy's House stating it "provides a safe, supportive, non-judgmental environment assisting in the advocacy, education, and empowerment of victims and child-witness victims of domestic violence." 

Pictured with Mayor Henry are Grammy's House staff members, Shawna Pruett,  Angela Phillips, and Christina Rodriguez along with Executive Director Celina Bryant, Grammy's House President David Rodriguez and Vice President Mike Elliott.
