AFD Receives Gold Medal Award for New Fire Station. Recently the Artesia Fire Department received the Gold Medal Award for shared facilities. This award was given by the Station Style Design Award Committee and the AFD also was featured as the cover on the Nov 2011 Fire Chief magazine.
