On September 18th, United Way of Eddy County held their Day of Caring. During the event, volunteer teams from local companies worked on projects throughout Eddy County, including multiple projects in Artesia.
As part of the event, volunteers from ConocoPhillips painted three walls along 8th street in Artesia. Additional projects took place at CASA, Haven of Hope, Written in Red, and Oasis Women's Services.
The Artesia projects were completed by volunteer teams from ConocoPhillips, Devon Energy, Flogistix, Central Valley Electric, and Boys and Girls Club of Carlsbad. We'd like to thank all of them for their service to our community.
