The City of Artesia recently renewed our agreement with Trans Aero Medevac. This means that all permanent Eddy County residents are automatically enrolled in the free air ambulance program and will have no remaining balance that needs to be paid if they're flown by Trans Aero Medevac. This benefit only applies to Trans Aero Medevac and not other medical transport companies.
Patients may need to specifically request that they are flown by Trans Aero Medevac to receive this benefit. To request that Trans Aero is the company that flies you, click the link below and print out the membership card. Keeping this card with your driver's license or health insurance card will make sure that it is seen before you get flown anywhere.
Due to state regulations, Medicaid members are not eligible for this program.
