On Friday April 4th, the Artesia Senior Center held a flag raising ceremony. The Senior Center recently received three new flag poles outside their building that will fly the American, New Mexican, and POW flags.
While these flags will fly outside the Senior Center, the ceremony was moved indoors due to the rain. The city of Artesia would like to thank everyone who was involved in getting these flag poles up at the Senior Center.
