Are you interested in watercolor?

July 11 through 13, 2023, the Artesia Senior Center is hosting a Watercolor Art Class instructed by Betty Jo Allen. Being born and raised in New Mexico has been an inspiration to Betty Jo since childhood. Each stroke of her brush portrays mountains, deserts, and other southwestern themes. She studied art at New Mexico University and has been fortunate enough to study with other well-known New Mexico artists. Betty Jo feels that teaching painting for many years has broadened her technique, and she looks forward to instructing the class and helping you to broaden your horizons. 

All art supplies will be provided for the class. Anyone aged 50 or older can join the class by calling the Artesia Senior Center at 575-748-1207 before July 5, 2023.
