Solid Waste Department

Water, sewer and/or trash collection service forms are available online here or in person from 8:00 am -5:00 pm M-F at City Hall, 511 W Texas Ave or call 575-748-8288.

 
Trash Collection
The City of Artesia Solid Waste Department operates commercial and residential trash pickup service for all residents and business within the city limits. trash collection is alos avaialble in limited areas adjacent county areas. The Solid Waste Department operates both dumpster and rolloff cart routes depending on access and route type.

Transfer Station
The City of Artesia maintains a Transfer Station for trash disposal from Municipal and surrounding area residents. Disposal trucks pick up both residential and commercial refuse within the City limits and limited adjacent County areas. Both residential and commercial trash from the City and surrounding County areas maybe brought to the station for disposal.

Residents may also drop off metal, used oil and brush for recycling.
