The City of Artesia maintains a Transfer Station for trash disposal from Municipal and surrounding area residents. Disposal trucks pick up both residential and commercial refuse within the City limits and limited adjacent County areas. Both residential and commercial trash from the City and surrounding County areas maybe brought to the station for disposal.

Residents may also drop off metal, used oil and brush for recycling.
